    Off-Ice Classes ~ Schedule & Fees
    Off-Ice Conditioning - Classes being after Labor day - details TBA

    Lauren Thomas, RMU ISC Figure Skating Coach, & the RMU ISC FIgure Skating Staff will focus on building strength & endurance with off-ice training techniques to enhance on-ice training. This class helps skaters improve on-ice performance by increasing strength, flexibility and endurance. Off-ice conditioning is essential for developing single, double and triple jump techniques and can enhance skaters’ potential through proper off ice conditioning and nutrition. 

    Level 1: Saturdays: 9:30 - 10:15 a.m.
    Level 1: Skaters who have not passed the Juvenile Freestyle Test, and at least 7 years of age or older, or have permission from the Skating Director.

    Level 2A IJS Skaters: Thursdays: 6:00- 6:45 p.m. (Tuesdays: 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. to be added in January)
    Level 2A : Qualifying Level/IJS  Skaters and skaters who have passed the US FS Juvenile Freestyle Test or are 12 years of age and older and working on axels, double and triple jumps

    Level 2B - Non-IJS Skaters: Fridays: 6:00 - 6:45 p.m.
    Level 2B off-ice conditioning class for skaters who are older and/or younger and working on double jumps - skaters must be at least 12 years of age - but are not at the IJS level

    Skaters should meet at sign-in table in front of skate rental.

    Prerequisite

    • Skaters should be at least 11 years of age or approval from the skating director.

    Fees 
    • 10 Session Pass: $120*
    • Walk-In Fee: $15/class
    *10 Session Pass will expire on June 9, 2018
